"Before Andrew's succession to Balgonie, he is listed as one of a number of persons, found guilty of involvement in the slaughter of James Borthwick, John Anderson and John Balzeat. He was escheated, and a gift of his goods, moveable and unmovable, was made by the King to Walter Lundy of that Ilk.

He was served as his brother's heir in 1548 .....

....Andrew was twice married ..... does not appear to have had any children ..... he was succeeded by his brother Robert Lundie 1st of that name of Conland."

Andrew married Janet SIBBALD of Letham, daughter of David SIBBALD of Letham, Depute-Sheriff of Fife and Unknown, before 5 May 1542.1 2 (Janet SIBBALD of Letham was born about 1515.)

"Andrew was twice married. His first wife was Janet Sibbald, to who he was married to by 1549. On the 21st of October 1549, they were given a Crown Charter of the Barony of Mondynes, following Andrew's resignation."

Extract Decreet of Court of Session in action at instance of Mr. Henry Lauder, Lord Advocate, against Andrew Lumisdane of Wester Condlane, David Barclay of Cullerny, Walter Heriot of Burntuck, Janet Sibbald of Lethame, Andrew Lundy, her spouse, David Grundestoun of Benholme, Paul Balfour and John Balfour of Bello, William Lumisdaine of Ardre, Andrew Seytoun of Parbrothe and Gilbert Seytoun, his son, stating that letters of cognition had been directed to the stewart of Fife and his deputes for cognition whether they had 'pastureit thare guidis, kest fewall and devottis upoun the hillis of Lomondis and mureis thairof thai nocht beand infeft with comountie thairin.' Finding against certain defenders that they had no rights, and against others that the were confined to certain soumings" 1 2

Andrew next married Janet LINDSAY of Dowhill.1 (Janet LINDSAY of Dowhill was born about 1537.)
