Alexander married Christian DAVIDSON, daughter of Alexander DAVIDSON younger, of Newton, Advocate and Issobell LESLIE.1 (Christian DAVIDSON was baptised on 4 December 1687 in Edinburgh parish, Edinburgh, Scotland 3.) Marriage Notes: "Alexander Leith of Freefield and Glenkindie was born circa 1664. He was the son of James Leith of New Leslie and Margaret Strachan.
