His wife, daughter of Arthur Forbes, and grand-daughter of Alexander Forbes, 6th Lord Pitsligo, bare him two sons, James, his heir ; and Alexander, progenitor of the Leiths of Bucharne, Leiths of Blair, and Leiths of Whiteriggs in the Mearns."
