Note: on the same page of the baptism register, is a baptism of a child, James whose parents were William Brander and Jean Stuart. William was recorded as the servant of Mr Cruickshank at the Manse of Rothes.

In the 1896 death certificate of his son James, William Clark was recorded as a "wood-man (deceased)" 3 4

  Research Notes:

DATE OF MARRIAGE

The year of this couple's marriage seems inappropriate given the date of the husband's baptism. However the baptism record does not state how old he was when he was baptized. He may have been born much earlier. 1

William married someone Barbara WATT. (Barbara WATT was born about 1820.)
