  General Notes:

When Michael O'Brine was baptised in 1839 his sponsors were Hugh O'Reily and Mary Gallagher. The name of the priest who baptised him in St Margaret's Airdrie was not noted.

The 1841 census recorded Michal as a 2 year old living with his family near Airdrie. He had been born in Lanarkshire.

The 1851 census for New Monkland, Lanarkshire recorded Michael Obrien living at Mill Row with his mother and 6 brothers and sisters. He was recorded as age 12 years and had been born in New Monkland parish. He worked as a coal miner.

In 1861 the census for Airdrie recorded Michael Obrien living with his family at 3 Mill Road. He was recorded as an ironstone miner of 21 years of age and had been born in Airdrie. 1 3 4
