She was a scholar. 7 Mary married Michael McCONNACHIE, son of Michael McCONAGHEY in Greenhill, (DNA Link) and Margaret CRANEY in Cornakinnegar, on 30 December 1898 in RC Chapel, Cleland, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Michael McCONNACHIE was born 7 April 1873 at 2.00 am in Greenhill, Shotts Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 21 September 1957 at 8.50 am in 7 Hornshill Drive, Cleland, Lanarkshire, Scotland 8.). The cause of his death was pneumoconiosis and cardio-vascular degeneration. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church.
