Joseph McSwish MB ChB, who saw Teresa after death, certified the causes of her death. Since the death was a sudden one, an investigation was made by the Procurator Fiscal's office, and the report, duly delivered the next week, confirmed the original findings.

Francis Duffy, widower of the deceased woman, informed the registrar at Cleland, A. Johnston, on 13 December 1961. ³
