Cause of her death was general debility and disease of the stomach. Other names for Elizabeth were SEMPLE, Bridget,5 SEMPLE, Elizabeth,2 WALKER, Bridget 5 and WALKER, Elisabeth.6 General Notes: In 1851 the New Monkland census recorded Elizabeth, her husband and two children living in the Clarkston area of Airdrie. Elizabeth was recorded as 28 years old and born in Ireland. Medical Notes: David Welsh LRCP (Ed) LRCS (edin) LFPS (Glasgow), locum at Caldercruix, certified the cause of death. Elizabeth married Solomon SEMPLE, son of James SEMPLE and Margaret INGLIS. (Solomon SEMPLE was born about 1813 in Ireland 4 7 and died 13 June 1891 at 6.40 am in 141 Forrest Street, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland 7.). The cause of his death was chronic bronchitis and gastric catarrh. |
