  General Notes:

Donald was an infant of about a year old, living with his family at Aitchison St Airdrie when the 1841 census was taken.

In the 1851 census Daniel was recorded as aged 11 years and working as a miner. He was living with his parents and family at 42 Bell St Airdrie. Like his brothers and sisters he was born in Scotland.

It was Daniel who notified the registrar of his mother's death in 1859. 2
