John married Sarah ROBERTSON, daughter of William ROBERTSON and Esther WATSON. (Sarah ROBERTSON was born on 19 May 1839 in Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland ³ and died 5 October 1930 at 4.20 pm in 44 Polnoon Avenue, Glasgow, Scotland ⁴.). The cause of her death was coller (sic) fracture, left, over 5 days and hypostatic pneumonia over 1 day.
