George married Jean MOIR, daughter of James MOIR 4th of Stoneywood, Jacobite 1745 and Margaret MACKENZIE of Ardross, on 16 October 1766 in Old Machar parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.^{1 2} (Jean MOIR was born about 1742.)
