QUINN, Patrick 2
Another name for Patrick was QUIN, Patrick.3 General Notes: Patrick Quin [sic] was recorded by the 1891 census living in his parents' home in Blantyre. Patrick's age was noted as 13 years and his birthplace as 'Brideton Lanarkshire' [sic]. He was employed as a coal miner. Patrick married Alice LYNCH, daughter of James LYNCH and Alice SOMERS, on 18 November 1898 in St Joseph's RC Chapel, Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Alice LYNCH was born 28 May 1879 at 9.00 am in 46 Allanton Rows, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland 5 6 and died 4 May 1934 at 6.50 am in 41 Bothwell Road, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland 7.). The cause of her death was chronic bronchitis and tuberculosis of the lungs. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Father Thomas Hackett. The witnesses were John McCallum and Mary McGavigan who made her X mark. |
