  General Notes:

The 1891 census for Blantyre, Lanarkshire, recorded the Quin family living at MacAlpine's Buildings in the Stonefield district. Patrick was recorded as a man of 50 years who worked as a mason's labourer. His birthplace was Ireland. With him lived his wife, Lizzie, and three children, Lizzie, Patrick and Kate.

Patrick was a mason's labourer, according to the marriage certificate of his son, Patrick, in 1898. 3 4


Patrick married Elizabeth McPHILLIPS on 23 May 1872 in Hutchesontown, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Elizabeth McPHILLIPS was born in 1850 in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland 3 and died after 18 November 1898.)
