Cause of her death was cerebral apoplexy over 14 days.6 Other names for Ann were MOUNT, Ann,3 4 MOUNT, Annie,6 7 SMITH, Anne 1 and SMITH, Annie.1 7 General Notes: In 1872 Charles Mount coal miner was recorded as father of Annie Robison Mount. His wife Annie Mount was the informant of the birth and made her X mark. The parents' marriage was recorded as 25th [sic] April 1864 at Holytown. Medical Notes: William B. Hendry LRCP & S (E) certified the cause of death. Ann married Charles ROBSON, son of Charles ROBSON? and Mary MOUNT?, on 26 April 1864 in Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 2 (Charles ROBSON was born about 1840 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died on 3 March 1912 in 3 Wylie Street, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland 5.). The cause of his death was syncope from natural causes.6 Marriage Notes: Charles Robson and Ann Smith married after banns according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland. They were married by John Wilkie, Minister of Holytown, and the witnesses to the marriage were Robt. Smith and Isa Wilson. The minister noted that both the two witnesses, and the bride Ann Smith, were unable to write, and that they signed with an X mark. |
