  General Notes:

The 1861 census for Galston, Ayrshire recorded a two year old called 'Ann Tweedlelay' living with Helen McCallum, a widow aged 75 years, in Henrietta Street. Helen was the head of the household and the child, Ann, was described in the census entry as her great grand daughter. Also present in the household were Helen McCallum's daughter Helen aged 32 years and son James aged 30 years. This household was next door to that of Ann Barbour (the child's maternal grandmother).

Jean married John SMITH. (John SMITH was born about 1780 and died before 7 April 1861.)
