   Another name for Helen was McGRAW, Helen.¹

  General Notes:

The 1851 census for New Monkland recorded Helen McGraw living with her parents and her brother, Owen, at 39 High Street Airdrie. She had been born in Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, and was 8 months old when the census was taken.

James McGrath's birth certificate of 1855 recorded that one boy and three girl siblings had died; and one boy and one girl still survived. This girl was probably one of the girls who died.

Helen was not listed with her family in the 1861 census. ^{1 2}
