Ellen was recorded as a mere 5 weeks old when her death took place.

Robert Wilson, surgeon, certified the cause of death.

Michael McEnarney, the child's father who was present where his daughter died, gave notice of her death at Coatdyke before Andrew Baird, registrar, on 3 March 1873.
