The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Father Thomas Hackett. The witnesses were James Gillen and Mary Dolochan.

John McEnearney was a coal miner by occupation. He was a bachelor aged 25 years and lived at 61 Hall Street, Blantyre.

Catherine Fallons was a cotton factory weaver. She lived at 24 Dixon Street, Blantyre. She was unmarried and aged 23 years.

The marriage was registered at Blantyre on 11 February 1901, H. MacMillan being the registrar. 1
