Sarah married Arthur QUIGLEY, son of Patrick QUIGLY (DNA Linked) and Margaret GEORGE (DNA Linked), on 21 March 1924 in 134 Crookston Street, Glasgow Scotland.¹ (Arthur QUIGLEY was born 22 June 1862 at 2.30 pm in Holmes Colliery, Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland ^{5 6}, baptised on 16 August 1862 in St Joseph's RC Parish, Kilmarnock, Scotland ⁷ and died 2 March 1941 at 3.15 pm in Belvidere Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland.). The cause of his death was cerebral thrombosis and broncho pneumonia.

The marriage took place according to the forms of the Established Church of Scotland. The Minister of Maxwell Parish, Glasgow, Alfred Brown, married the couple. The witnesses were John and Helen Rodger of 12 Tower Street Glasgow.

Arthur Tweedly was a widower of 62 years, whose occupation was recorded as wood sawyer. He was living at 134 Crookston Street Glasgow. Both of his parents were deceased.
