Agnes married Michael RODGERS, son of James RODGERS and Helen CULLEN, on 14 November 1919 in St Joseph's RC Chapel, Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Michael RODGERS was born in 1897.)

The couple were married after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church by Father Hugh MacDonald. Andrew Lynch and Janet MacDonald were the witnesses.
Michael, the bridegroom, was a young bachelor of 21 years who worked as a coal miner. His address was 1 Watson Street, Blantyre. Both of his parents were living.
Agnes, his bride, was aged 20 years. She was unmarried and worked at the pithead. She lived at 61 Dixon Street Blantyre. Both of her parents were living.
