McGUIRE, Annie
Cause of her death was cerebral haemorrhage over one month. Other names for Annie were FEELIE, Ann,5 FEELY, Ann,6 FEELY, Annie, McGUIRE, Ann,6 7 McQUIRE, Ann 8 and PHEELY, Annie. General Notes: Annie survived the death of her husband John in 1899. His usual residence was 2 Young Street, Hamilton then. Medical Notes: J. A. Haggerty MD certified the cause of death. Annie married John FEELY, son of Robert FEELY and Mary GRIMES, on 13 February 1885 in RC Chapel, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (John FEELY was born in 1856 in Ireland, baptised on 17 December 1856 in Shankill RC parish, County Armagh, Ireland,10 died 29 June 1899 at 6.45 am in River Avon, Hamilton Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland 9 and was buried in 1899 in Hamilton Cemetery, Lanarkshire, Scotland..). The cause of his death was asphyxia due to drowning. Marriage Notes: John Feely, a coal miner aged 26 years, of 20 Church Street, Hamilton married Ann McGuire aged 28 years, a cotton winder, of 1 Burnbell Place, Hamilton at a Roman Catholic service celebrated by Rev James Danaher RCC. The witnesses were James and Helen McGuire. |
