   Cause of her death was bronchitis and general debility lasting more than two weeks.

  General Notes:

This lady was recorded as 85 years when she died, a pauper and a widow.

No parental information was given on her death certificate of 1855. She was Irish and had lived about 40 years in Scotland.

  Medical Notes:

Dr William Campbell who certified the death saw the deceased on 14 February.

Mrs Lavery's grandson, James Lavery, notified the registrar, William Barr, at Kilbarchan, Renfrewshire, on 16 February 1855, of his grandmother's death. 6


Annie married John LAVERY. (John LAVERY was born about 1760 7 and died before 15 Feb 1855.)


Annie next married Elizabeth DOCHERTY.1 2 (Elizabeth DOCHERTY was born about 1847.)

"George (Gordon), his eldest son, had a confirmation on 23 November 1608, of a charter by him in fulfilment of marriage contract, dated 24 January 1606, with Margaret, daughter of George Bannerman of Wattertoun. He died vita patris, and his widow married, secondly, Sir William Keith of Ludquharn. George Gordon had issue by his wife, John"
