   Another name for John was TWIGLEY, John.²

  General Notes:

John Twigley was aged 4 years in 1881, according to the census, and living with his parents and family in Cambusnethan, the parish where he had been born.

In 1891 John was recorded by the census living with his family at numbers 1 & 2 Burnhall Row Cambusnethan. He was aged 14 years and a coal miner. ²

  Research Notes:

When John Tweedley senior died in 1923, the informant was his son, John K. Tweedley, of Gibson's Land, Waterloo, near Wishaw. That may have been this John, but this has not been verified as yet.

  Marriage Notes:

"Margaret (secunda) (Hamilton), posthumous daughter of the second marriage, born 15 January 1641, married, 24 April 1662 (contract 11 February), to Sir John Keith, Knight Marischal of Scotland, afterwards Lord Kintore."
