McNAIRN, Susan ¹

  General Notes:

Susan McNairn was aged 1 year when the 1851 census for Old Monkland recorded her in her family home.

In the 1855 birth certificate of his daughter Susan, Robert McNearn, Susan's father, stated that he and his wife had married in Airdrie in 1844. They had six children, two boys and two girls living, and two girls deceased, as well as one boy before marriage and one girl before marriage. ¹

Susan married James McINAIRN.^{2 3} (James McINAIRN was born about 1795 and died before 11 Jan 1869.)

  Marriage Notes:

"He (William Burnett) marr. Catherine, daugh. of James Reid, min. of Banchory-Ternan, and had issue Bessie, contracted in marriage on 10th Feb. 1642, to Thomas, eldest son of the second marriage of Sir Thomas Burnett of Leys, Bart., whom failing, William, whom failing, James, also sons of said Sir Thomas (she marr. 1648 the said Thomas)"
