James next married Sibby McKENDRICK, daughter of Alexander McKENDRICK and Ann McMILLAN.² (Sibby McKENDRICK was born on 20 Nov 1834 ⁵, christened on 17 Oct 1835 in Killean and Kilchenzie Parish, Argyll, Scotland ⁵ and died 24 January 1916 at 3.40 pm in 12 Scott Street, Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland ⁶.). The cause of her death was cerebral haemorrhage over 10 days.
