Cause of his death was tubercle of lungs and haemorrhage over 3 days. General Notes: The death certificate of James Lyons in 1896 recorded him as a journeyman stone mason aged 38 years, widower of Janet Bunton (or Buxton? Burton?), and married to Catherine Andrews. His usual residence was 8 St Andrew's Street Kilmarnock. 4 Medical Notes: William Frew MD certified the cause of death. James married Catherine ANDREWS. (Catherine ANDREWS was born about 1860 and died after 16 Mar 1896.) James next married QUIGLEY on 7 Nov 1716.1 2 (QUIGLEY was born about 1795 in probably Ireland.) Marriage Notes: "Andrew, born about 1681 ; founded the great banking house of Drummond at Charing Cross. He purchased the estate of Stanmore, co. Middlesex, 1729, and died, and was buried at Stanmore 9, February 1769. He married, 7 November 1716, Isabella Strachan. She died 13 February 1731, having had issue, besides a daughter Isabel, one son : - (1) John of Stanmore, born 27 April 1723" James next married Janet BUNTON.
