O'ROURKE, Daniel
Cause of his death was senile dementia and asthenia. Another name for Daniel was ROURKE, Daniel. General Notes: The household recorded by the 1881 census, of which Daniel Rourke was the head, lived at Tile Row, 94 Merryston Square, in the parish of Old Monkland, quite near where Daniel's two brothers, Philip and Patrick, lived. Daniel was a coal miner by occupation. He was recorded as 34 years of age and had been born in Ireland. His household consisted of himself, his wife, and their five sons. Medical Notes: D. Macphail MD certified the causes of death. Noted events in his life were: 1. Census: UK, 1861, Bothwell Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Daniel married Mary CONNOR on 21 January 1869 in Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Mary CONNOR was born about 1849 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1 and died after 28 March 1910.) |
