HART, Henry
General Notes: The 1861 census for Lanarkshire recorded Patrick Hart and his son Henry living as boarders in the household of Domenick Cromar and his wife Isabella both in their twenties. Another boarder Daniel McCormick aged 40 years also lived there. All of the adult males were coal miners. They lived in Morningside village in the parish of Cambusnethan. Patrick Hart was a widower of 33 years of age. His birthplace was Ireland. Henry was a scholar aged 7 years who had been born in Bothwell parish. Henry married Catherine MORGAN on 11 June 1878 in Bothwell Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Catherine MORGAN was born about 1855.) |
