Cause of her death was bronchitis and cardiac disease.1 Another name for Margaret was SKEOCH, Margaret.1 General Notes: The 1871 census for Glasgow recorded Margaret Quigley living with her widowed mother and brother and sisters at 12 Wright Street in Springburn. She was 18 years old and had been born in Ireland. She worked as a stampmaker and was single. Medical Notes: J. K. Kelly, surgeon, certified the causes of death. Margaret married John SKEOCH on 3 January 1876 in 105 Hill Street, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (John SKEOCH was born about 1853 in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland 1 and died on 30 December 1926 1.) Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the forms of the United Presbyterian Church. Walter McKenzie of Frederick Street United Presbyterian Church married the couple. The witnesses were William Beadwell and Ellen Quigley. |
