   Other names for Agnes were DEVLIN, Nancy,^{2 6} DULAGHAN, Agnes ⁷ and VALALY, Agnes.⁴

The 1855 birth certificate of her daughter Mary Valaly recorded Agnes Valaly or Devlin as 18 years of age and born in Banbridge, County Down, Ireland. Mary was her first child.

Agnes was recorded as 36 years old at her death in 1868. ^{4 5}

Agnes married John VALLELY, son of John VALLELY and Mary ROCKS, on 27 February 1854 in St Mary's RC Chapel, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.^{1 2} (John VALLELY was born about 1835 in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland ⁴ and died after 10 June 1875.)
