FEELY, Hugh ²

Terence Feely, Hugh's father, was the informant of Hugh's birth before the registrar, Thomas Burdon, at Old Monkland on 22 November 1855.

Hugh Feely was baptized by Father Michael O'Keeffe on 16 December 1855. His godparents were James Keenan and Anne Brady.

In 1861 the census for Dalziel recorded Hugh Feely aged 5 years living at Glenhead with his parents and two sisters, Bridget and Rose. His birthplace was recorded there as Coatbridge.

Hugh Feely with his wife and child were recorded living at 28 Balmano Street Glasgow by the census of 1881. Hugh had been born in Coatbridge Lanarkshire and was recorded as aged 25 years. He was a police constable. ^{3 4 5}

Hugh married Jessie HENDRY, daughter of William HENDRY and Janet LOWRIE, on 5 February 1880.¹ (Jessie HENDRY was born on 10 November 1859 in Bellshill, Bothwell Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland ^{3 6}.)
