VALLALEY, Charles 1
Cause of his death was croup over six days. General Notes: His death certificate noted that Charles was resident in the district for 2 years, which would mean his family had been there since 1852-53. He was three years old when he died. Since he was born in Carrickfergus, it suggests they had come from there to Scotland after his birth. Medical Notes: John Tennant Barrie, surgeon, certified the cause of death. He saw the little boy on 15 February, the day before his death. Noted events in his life were: 1. Emigration, 1852-1853, Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Ireland. 2 |
