Cause of his death was enlarged prostate gland and disease of the bladder of 4 weeks' duration. Other names for Peter were QUIGLEY, Peter 4 and QUIGLY, Peter.5 General Notes: Peter Quigley, his wife, and three of their children were recorded by the 1841 census for Fintry in Stirlingshire, living at Back Street in New Town. Peter had been born in Ireland and was recorded as being in the 65-70 years age range. He was a labourer. Medical Notes: Dr R D Tamphill certified the cause of death after having seen the patient on the 27 March 1858. Peter married Catharine CHRISTIE on 9 April 1815 in Balfron, Stirlingshire, Scotland.1 (Catharine CHRISTIE was born about 1785 in Scotland, but not Stirlingshire 4 and died between 1841 and 1851.) Marriage Notes: Peter and Catharine were married on 9 April 1815. |
