   Cause of her death was valvular disease of the heart.⁶

   Other names for Alice were CONNOLLY, Alice ⁷ and VALLELY, Alice.^{5 6}

  General Notes:

In 1881 Alice was recorded as 38 years of age. The 1881 census recorded her living with her husband and five children at 15 Stonecraigs Row Cambusnethan in Lanarkshire.

Alice was not recorded with the family resident in Newmains in the 1901 census entry.

When Alice Vallely died in 1925 her death certificate recorded her as the widow of Francis Vallely, blast furnace labourer. Her recorded age at death was 77 years. Both of her parents were deceased. ^{2 6 8}

Owen Vallely, son of the deceased, who had been present where her death occurred, gave notice of his mother's death before the registrar, Thomas Steele, at Wishaw on 19 May 19 1925. ⁶

Alice married Francis VALLELY, son of Francis VALLELY and Mary CAMPBELL, on 17 November 1867 in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.¹ (Francis VALLELY was born in Ireland ³, baptised on 11 April 1824 in Dungannon Parish, County Tyrone, Ireland ⁹ and died 9 September 1892 at 2.15 pm in Kirklands Land, Newmains, Lanarkshire, Scotland ³.). The cause of his death was dilatation of stomach over 2 months and asthenia.⁶
