Ann married Martin QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Mary DOHERTY, on 17 August 1863 in St Mirin's RC Chapel, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 (Martin QUIGLEY was born about 1828 in Ireland 2 3 and died 14 December 1908 at 3.15 pm in 19 Great Hamilton Street, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland 3.). The cause of his death was debility of age.


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest who married them was Fr Thomas Donnelly, the Roman Catholic Curate, and the witnesses were William Shannagan and Catherine Woods. Both the witnesses and the couple being married made only their X mark in the register.

The groom, Martin, was 35 years old and an iron miner. He had not been married before. His usual residence was 7 Old Smithhills, Paisley. This address was given for the bride's residence too.

The bride, Ann, was also 35 years of age and had not been married. Both her parents were dead when she married.
