Edward Quiglay was there aged 40 years, a labourer, born Ireland. A child, John Kinloch, was a 'scholar' in the 1861 census, born in Busby, living with his grandfather, Edward Quigley (husband of Jane Stewart), in Cambusnethan. He was aged 8 years. Research Notes: In the 1861 census for Cambusnethan an Edward Quiglay married to Jane appears with a son Edward, aged 14 years, and a younger son John, aged 10 years. Edward married Jane STEWART. (Jane STEWART was born about 1815 in Ireland or Islay, Argyllshire, Scotland 5.) |
