Cause of her death was disease of the stomach over several months.4 Other names for Mary were CARSON, M. A, DONALDSON, Mary Ann,2 KERRSON, Mary Ann,1 5 KERSON, Maryann 5 and McCARTER, Mary Ann.6 General Notes: Mary Ann Donaldson was the informant of the birth of her son James before the registrar at Kilwinning on 10 January 1863. She made her X mark. Medical Notes: James Hunter MD certified the cause of death. Mary married James DONALDSON, son of William DONALDSON and Ann McGRAW, on 30 December 1851 in Ardkeen parish, County Down, Ireland.1 (James DONALDSON was born about 1835 in Ireland 3 and died 14 April 1888 at 8.25 pm in Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland 9.).
