LYNASS, Lionel Leonidas ¹

   Cause of his death was septic inflammation of the brain, abscess and necrosis of the mastoid bone.

  General Notes:

Lionel Lynass was the 'grandson, present' who gave notice, in a very flourishing handwriting, to the registrar at Govan in 1879 of the death of his grandfather, John.

Lionel's age was recorded as 29 years when he died in 1887. His mother was deceased but his father was still alive. Lionel was unmarried. His occupation was noted as spirit salesman. ²

William Lynass, brother of the deceased, who was present where the death occurred, gave notice of the death before John G. McColl, registrar, at Glasgow on 23 August 1887.
