David married Marie Charles Joseph LEMOINE De Longeuil, daughter of Charles Jacques LE MOYNE 3rd Baron De Longueuil and Marie Anne Catherine FLEURY Dowager Baroness de Longeuil, on 7 May 1781 in Quebec, Lower Canada, Canada.1 (Marie Charles Joseph LEMOINE De Longeuil was born on 21 March 1756 in Quebec, Lower Canada, Canada 3 and died on 17 February 1841 in Quebec, Lower Canada, Canada 3.)

"Captain David Alexander Grant was born in 1753. He was the son of David Grant. He married Marie Charles Joseph le Moyne, Baroness de Longueuil, daughter of Charles Jacques le Moyne, 3rd Baron de Longueuil and Marie Anne Catherine Fleury d'Eschambault, on 7 May 1781. He died in 1806.

He gained the rank of Captain in the 84th Regiment."
