Elisabeth married Alexander HEMES, son of George HAIMES Shoemaker, DNA Linked and Isabell MOWAT (DNA Linked), on 12 July 1856 in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland.1 (Alexander HEMES was born on 15 September 1813 1 4, baptised on 3 October 1813 in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland 4 and died 21 April 1867 at 3.45 pm in Nungate, Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland 1.). The cause of his death was pneumonia of the lung over 5 weeks and phtisis pulmonalis over 6 months.
