"Alexander Seton, son of the first marriage, who inherited his mother's estates, as to which later on there was a dispute between him and his half-brother George, Lord Gordon. He is said to have married Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas, Lord Erskine. He was the ancestor of the family of Seton of Touch, now (in 1907) represented by Sir Bruce Maxwell Seton of Abercorn, Bart."
