(at Elgin) 15th Sept., and adm. 16th Sept. 1686; dem. 12th June 1716; retired to Cairnwhelp in Cairney, where he continued to officiate; died there 14th May 1726. He marr. (1) 2nd Oct. 1687, Janet (buried 2nd Jan. 1703), daugh. of John Leslie of Kininvie in Mortlach, and had issue John; William, Episcopal min. in Edinburgh, born 2nd March 1693, died 19th Dec. 1765; Thomas; Alexander; Margaret (marr.
