Elizabeth married James OGILVY 5th Earl of Findlater and 2nd of Seafield, son of Sir James OGILVY 4th Earl of Findlater, 1st Earl of Seafield and Anne DUNBAR, about 1714.1 2 (James OGILVY 5th Earl of Findlater and 2nd of Seafield was born about 1690 1 and died on 9 July 1764 in Cullen House, Banffshire, Scotland 1.)

  Marriage Notes:

"He (James Ogilvy) married, first, about 1714, Elizabeth Hay, second daughter of Thomas, sixth Earl of Kinnoull"

from Scots Peerage (vol 4)

Note:
Thomas was 7th Earl. There seems to be some doubt among some writers about the status of George Hay 3rd Earl, for in
Scots Peerage (vol 5) it states:

"George, third Earl of Kinnoull, is not given by the Peerage writers, but there is undoubted evidence for hisexistence, and for some facts in his career." (page 225)

"Elizabeth, married, about 1714, to James, Earl of Findlater and Seafield. She died at Dupplin before December 1723."

from Scots Peerage (vol 5) 1 2
