  Marriage Notes:

"The King on 10 Jan 1464/65 granted John's son John and his spouse Janet a sixth part of the lands of Innermeath in Perthshire when John resigned his one twelfth part and his wife Marjory resigned her one twelfth part.

These lands of Innermeath were to be held by his descendants until 1550....

In 1468 the sum of £18 was paid to the Exchequer for the relief of lands of Innermeith. It is assumed that this was paid by his son and heir on taking sasine after the death of John."
