General Notes: In 1588 Inverallochy became the property of Alexander Fraser, 8th of Philorth, nephew of Margaret, Alexander Cumyn's wife; then in 1615-1616 Inverallochy changed hands again, becoming the possession of Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat. (Scots Peerage vol 7) 1 Alexander married Margaret FRASER, daughter of Alexander FRASER 7th of Philorth and Katherine MENZIES.1 (Margaret FRASER was born about 1536 and died in August 1602 1 2.) Marriage Notes: "Margaret, youngest daughter, married, first, to Alexander Cumyn of Inverallochy ; secondly, to Alexander Annand of Octerellon, and died in 1602" |
