"George Stewart of Tannachie

The second son of Patrick, he accompanied his brother Andrew of Auchlunkart in 1715. He married Ann Abercromby in 1722 and died in December 1748. He was taken prisoner, but four witnesses from Enzie claimed that he was forced 'out' by his superior, the Duke of Gordon, and he was discharged."

George married Anne ABERCROMBY, daughter of Sir James ABERCROMBY 2nd Baronet of Birkenbog and Mary GORDON, about 1722.1 (Anne ABERCROMBY was born about 1700 and was buried on 11 April 1740 in Rathven parish, Banffshire, Scotland 5.)
