Rothes Parish Moray
Baptisms

"13 October 1786
Inch
Isobel lawful daughter to Peter Inch in the New Town was baptised witnesses: Isobel Simson and Isobel Cruikshank Jas. Suter and Jas. Munro"

In 1834 in Rothes Isabella Inch and George Gordon were witnesses at the baptism of Isabella Gordon, natural daughter of James Gordon Shoemaker and Ann Winter.

Isabella Gordon was recorded living in New Street Rothes by the 1841 census. She lived there with her husband and stepson, and a female servant. She was aged 54 years and had been born in Morayshire.

The 1851 census for Rothes recorded Isabella and her husband living together in New Street. She was recorded as 66 years of age and had been born in Rothes, now part of Elgin.

No statutory death certificate was found for Isabella. This most likely means she died before 1855. 3 4 6
