Nichola next married Sir Alexander RAMSAY of Dalhousie, son of Sir Alexander RAMSAY of Dalhousie and Isabella DOUGLAS, by 15 February 1508(1509)(charter confirmed).^{1 2} (Sir Alexander RAMSAY of Dalhousie was born about 1468 and died on 9 September 1513 in Battle of Flodden Field, Northumberland, England ².)

"He (Alexander Ramsay) married Nicolas, daughter and heir of George Ker of Samuelston, and relict of Alexander, second Lord Home, probably in 1508 or 1509, as he grants her the lands of Kerington in liferent by a charter of 12 February 1508-9 (confirmed 15 February 1508-9)."
