Alexander next married Nichola KER, daughter of George KER of Samuelston and Mariota SINCLAIR co-heiress of Polwart and Kimmerghame, by 15 February 1508(1509)(charter confirmed).2 3 (Nichola KER was born about 1471 and died by 2 January 1528 2.)

"He (Alexander Ramsay) married Nicolas, daughter and heir of George Ker of Samuelston, and relict of Alexander, second Lord Home, probably in 1508 or 1509, as he grants her the lands of Kerington in liferent by a charter of 12 February 1508-9 (confirmed 15 February 1508-9)."
