Margaret married William JOHNSTON younger, of that Ilk, son of James JOHNSTON of that Ilk and Clara BARCLAY, in 1543.¹ (William JOHNSTON younger, of that Ilk was born about 1518 and died on 10 September 1547 in Battle of Pinkie Cleugh, near Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland ².)
